Yummy Nutmeg!

This is my second medium crossbody tote, the other being in the smooth honey leather. The medium crossbody tote is pretty much my ideal handbag- big enough to carry everything I need without being too heavy. I wanted to try a pebbled leather and after looking at lots of photos and unboxing videos, settled on nutmeg. The nutmeg leather of my bag is a warm, rich brown, with subtle red and rust undertones. The pebbled leather is softer than the smooth, but still retains some structure and isn't overly slouchy. I got the zippered version which I prefer for security, and the zipper moves easily. I also got a classic leather tassel in nutmeg and its the perfect size for the medium crossbody tote. I cannot recommend this bag more highly. I am sure it won't be my last. I have three pictures of it in different light for color reference.
Practical and will age beautifully!

Some googling proved to me that Honey was a winner for developing a lovely patina. I am highly selective with my bags. The simplicity, the amount of space, and the ability to convert from handbag to crossbody makes this a great choice. Zippers lay flat which is nice. With a toddler, I can toss in a full pack of wipes and a few diapers along with my belongings (plus more.) I appreciate all kinds of bags. The next one I want is a Medium or Large Classic Full Crossbody. If only they came in more colors. FYI this medium XB fits nicely in my OS Tote. She holds her structure, without being stuffed. The leather is thick - it does scratch easily but can mostly be rubbed away. I love her!

Wow! I LOVE this bag! It is gorgeous and has such a buttery feeling to the touch. It is a little bit smaller than I was hoping for. The zipper made it difficult for my 11"x8.5" planner to slide in and out. It has become a great every day carry bag when I want to have most if my things with me. Love my medium CB from PLG - and the Cabo color is beautiful!
I have the mini crossbody but wanted to try the medium for trips to the coffee shop with my iPad and a few books. It works perfectly. I can’t see anything that makes this “almost perfect”. The cognac is lovely and durable.

This tote is a definite perfect size, weight, two handles as well as a shoulder strap, interior pocket ,exterior pocket and fantastic shade of red. I now have 4 of these totes in various colors, jacaranda, black pebble, meadow and now ruby red . This tote size with the zipper has become my favorite for organizing everything I need to take with me out the door each day. Nothing gets lost in this professional tote. I carry two cell phones, two pairs of eyeglasses, small notebook, plus the taco zip pouch and two other small portland zips. Not sure what part of the perfection is missing. My tote is gorgeous. I hope they bring in back in the medium size- Cold Brew with a zipper! Portland Leather is my go to for handbags, mini organizing zipper accessories.
